I, Farzane Vaziritabar (1987), am a sculptor and cartoonist. I was first exposed to art at home among my family and was gradually drawn further into this world.

Farzane Vaziritabar was born in 1987 in Iran. She has obtained her Diploma in painting from Yazd Visual Arts school and her Bachelor in Sculpture and Master’s degree in Art Studies from Teheran University. She is currently studying Public Art and artistic Strategies in Bauhaus University of Weimar in Germany. She has participated in individual and group exhibitions and won national and international prizes in the field of sculpture, installation and cartoon.

My first academic artistic experience began with me choosing Painting as my high school program. During the years that followed I became enchanted with the possibilities that the third dimension presents to the artist and consequently, I chose Sculpture as my major for my bachelors studies at the Fine Arts University (Tehran). I further strengthened my artistic insight about the philosophical and theoretical aspects of my field by going into Art Studies as my master program.
